CyberAgent Ventures, Inc. (Headquarter: Tokyo, President & CEO: Soichi Tajima), a subsidiary of CyberAgent, Inc. (Headquarter: Tokyo, President & CEO: Susumu Fujita), announces to establish its new office in Jakarta, Indonesia.

CyberAgent Ventures, Inc.(CAV) has invested in over 20 Internet-related start-ups in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia and Korea. In Indonesia, CAV invested in PT Tokopedia (E-Commerce mall) in April 2011.

The establishment of the new office in Jakarta will enhance CAV’s investment and incubation activities in order to keep up with the rapid growth in the Indonesia’s Internet market.
After opening the Jakarta Office, CAV now has offices in 8 cities including Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Taipei, Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi in the Asian market.

Following the establishment of the office, CAV has launched a new venture capital fund called [CA Asia Internet Fund I, L.P.] specializing for investments in South East Asia market.
The fund plans to increase the capital with the size up to about 15 Million USD.
We will fully utilize our experience and resources accumulated in our global operation to further expand our venture capital business.
